The 1st reason: I'm looking into buying a new car. It's very uncomfortable to hike around on the car dealerships lots' in the pouring rain. For those of you who will want to know...I'm looking at the Kia Rio...yes I know not the coolest car but they have that amazing 10 years or 100,000 miles warranty.

The 2nd reason: This area has a tendency to flood. I don't want to see anymore people lose their possessions or homes. So far, this rain storm hasn't caused any but we'll see how it goes.
The 3rd reason: Whatever happened to April showers bring May flowers?!?! All it did in April was rain. The few flowers that came out are now water logged. Way to go rain!
The 4th reason: All last week it was gorgeous outside and where was I? Inside! It's called work people. The first day I had off for my 3 day weekend...rain. The second day...rain. Now the third...rain. BOOOO
So enclosing, Dear rain, go away!
It's actually been proven that it rains more often on the weekends than weekdays. Something to do with the reaction of pollution from the weekly commute. Random trivia, I know. Good luck with your car hunt.
ReplyDeletei feel ya, its been raining here the past week. ruined the whole weekend!! it was nice to just stay inside and watch movies though
ReplyDeleteYeah, it's raining here too. Blah! I think the Kia Rios are really cute cars! And the warranty is amazing. Hyundai also has really great warranties...well, they used too. I don't know if they still do, but they did when I bought my Accent. Good luck! I hope you get what you want!
ReplyDeleteGah I am sooo sick of the rain, too!
ReplyDeleteTotally agree with you on the rain around here! I'm ready for it to be the warm, clear days of spring!
ReplyDeleteOkay, I love when it rain and I can be indoors reading a good book or snuggling on the couch with a movie but when I have to get out in it, yeah thats no fun:p Its been raining here too, just started last night but hopefully it doesn't stay for three days! I like the car though!
ReplyDeleteI think the May "flowers" have been replaced with May floods. Time to break out the ole rubber rain boots.
ReplyDeleteI love the title for your blog. Really cool.
I thought the rain would never stop :)
ReplyDeleteI am glad to see it finally did!
Oh no! I hope it goes away soon!
ReplyDeleteI hear ya I'm sick of it
ReplyDeleteWe've had rain/snow since October. I'm so over it! Bleh!
ReplyDeleteI am FEELING your pain! It's depressing me and my yard is like flooded out. We have terrible wind and scattered tornados constantly too. AND I'm here alone! The thunder and lightening at night is getting very old!
ReplyDeleteI heard that it has rained almost every day in Atlanta since we moved to Germany almost 6 weeks ago! Good luck with the car search. We are going to be buying another car too but not until we sell our condo back in Atlanta! I'm glad you found my blog! Now I have a new one to read too!
ReplyDeleteIt seems like it's doing nothing but raining across the entire country! I hate it!
ReplyDeleteHey and no worries about the Kia...in this economy you have to go for what's practical rather than what's "cool". And anyhow, that's a cute, little car to zip around town in!
Ohh I hope it stops soon for you!
ReplyDeleteOh its been raining here and my backyard is flooded so I feel your pain.
ReplyDeleteNot to mention, my dogs are not prissy at all and actually LOVE the rain and will play out in it all night if they could.
hahah in DC it's all about April flowers bring May showers! :D
ReplyDeleteMy friend just got a new car and we definitely were doing car-stuff in the rain. Woof.
I know it POURED last night here. I wound up being woken up several times because it was so loud.
