He's Just NOT That Into You, began just as an idea on the tv show Sex & The City. From there it went to a book and now the book was made into a movie. If you haven't read the book...go get it. Add it to your library. If you have children, make it a mandatory read for them once they turn dating age.
When the book came out, I was single, in college and completely confused when it came to boys and their actions and behaviors. The book helped me. The book can change your life. The book tells you...he's just not that into you. That's why he behaves the way he does.
Needless to say, when this movie came out I was thrilled. Hey, I'm not single anymore but there isn't a day that goes by that I'm still not confused on a guy's behavior or action. This movie is educating yet it's funny. It's sad, it's romantic, it's everything a movie should be.
Give it a chance...I think you'll enjoy it. It has a great ensemble cast!
I liked the book. But the movie was kinda ehh... It wasn't bad but really didn't have the same feel as actual book. But its a self-help book, so I'm not really sure it was meant to get turned into a movie.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the review. I was wondering what it was about!
ReplyDeleteI laughed my ass off watching this movie. Maggie's character is the epidemy of a dense and blind female! I just wanted to give her one of those "you shoulda had a V8" whacks in the head! tee hee
ReplyDeleteHappy belated birthday!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI have been wanting to see this movie!!! It looks really good! It is so nice to hear that it was good! :) I'll definitely have to go watch it now! :)
ReplyDeleteI loved this movie!
ReplyDeleteI thought it was cute.. I think the whole cigarettes thing was a little out of control in the movie.. it was weird...
ReplyDeletethanks! I've been wanting to see this one :)
ReplyDeleteI haven't watched this movie yet, but I want to. My sis Mary was interested in a guy when she went to watch this and then called me and was like, "yeah, now I'm not so sure this guy is into me." Lol...Love all the actors in it too! Welcome back theater thursday!
ReplyDeleteI thought the movie kind of dragged out a little too much but I truly loved it. I thought it was a good girly one :)
ReplyDeleteThe book totally changed the way I looked at dating and boys. I went from being a complete fool to knowing who was worth my time and who wasn't. And I loved the movie!
ReplyDeleteLOVED this movie.
ReplyDeleteI really liked the movie!
ReplyDeleteI actually didn't care for the movie at all. I really enjoy Ginnifer Goodwin's previous work and this was awful! Her character got on my nerves and just made me feel bad about myself for being single!
ReplyDeleteAh, well. Take it for it what it's worth, I guess. :)
