The Infamous Quilt

If you're a faithful reader then you know about this quilt. For my new readers, I'll explain: When I get off from work and on my off days I like to just hang around my house. Lately, I haven't known how to occupy my free time. For the past 33 days I worked on this quilt and it's finished. I don't know how to sew on a machine so I did it all by hand. 

Try not to be too harsh...it's nothing fancy. Just something I thought he might like. Tell me if you think it looks like complete crap because if so I don't want to give it away as a gift. 

The quilt is a full size. I had to fold it in half for pictures. This is one side...

  2. Oh honey you made it all by hand?!? You are unbelievable. (In an awesome way) I love all the colors and it will always remind you of how strong you are. I think it is absolutely amazing. You did a great job and I am not just saying that because we are super cool blog friends. Haaha.

  6. that's a very nice quilt--it looks like the ones my grandma made for me when I was a little girl :o) There's nothing more comforting than a quilt and I think he'll love it!

  13. you are my hero!!! i am attempting to make a quilt out of Little Miss's baby clothes and it is NOT going as well as yours did. He will LOVE it. it is absoluetly beautiful

  16. wow that is SO BEAUTIFUL! and you made it all without a sewing machine??!? you're incredible! and you did it in a month! you must be really missing your man.

    i used a LOT of exclamation points in that paragraph.

    sookie stackhouse books def count! i almost picked up dead until dark (i'm guessing that's the first one), but i just watched the series on TV so i think i'll let that rest for a while. are they good?

  17. I LOVE all those colors together. I'm so impressed by you! You should really keep that to give to him. You took the time to make it for him. That'll be something he can have 60 years from now and now you made it by him for him!
