48 hours of Patience!

At Christmas time, I become the most impatient person. I revert back to being a little kid and can't stand having to wait on opening gifts!
I love presents! Who doesn't? As soon as a present appears under the tree, I hone into it like it's on the terminator radar. I feel it, I shake it and then give it a guess. Usually, 9 times out of 10 I can guess what a present is. I think it's because I've had 25 years of practice. Haha!

This year, I think the most difficult present for me to buy was of course, for a boy. Why are guys so hard to buy for? I never know what to get. I went with something pretty safe and taped the receipt to the box just incase.

I'm really hoping I get what I asked Santa for this year. I guess I'll have to wait it out to find out...48 hours and counting.....

  3. Hello my impatient twin! :) I feel the same about the gifts...I already started talking like a little kid so the tremendous urge to open those cute little gifts would go away - of course it didn't. It made it worse. But I knew that. ;) Grrrr....

  4. I'm just the opposite, I always have too many ideas for the guys.

My family isn't exchanging anymore so my tree is a little sad... if I didn't have a cat I don't think there would be anything under the tree!

I hope Santa thought you were a good girl and acts accordingly. :-)

P.S. How was the holiday party?

  5. Merry Christmas. I think tomorrow will be the worst. I'm so eager to open presents but I still want to keep the tradition and not open any earlier than I would at home.

Although I'm waiting on my 52lbs box from my dad to arrive today!
