Ok, I have to admit it. I think I have a tiny fear of dying on the toilet. Can you imagine!?! How awful would that be. Not only for the fact that you died, but on the toilet of all places. Look at poor Elvis. He was and still is the King of rock n' roll and some people only remember him for dying on the toilet.
From now on, I'm taking my cell phone to the bathroom at all times...just incase. Ok, so I got bored and decided to research it. So according to poopreport.com (not kidding people it's a real site) Elvis died in the bathroom beside the toilet, technically not on it. But still...he was way too close to it because see... look how things can get twisted!
I also love that even though the site is called poop report they referred to his incident as "defecating".
Other famous people who have died while on the toilet or in the bathroom: Orville Redenbacher, King Henry III, Edward I and a ton of other Royalty.
Oh my goodness! That is just a scary scary thought! Yikes!
ReplyDeleteThis is pretty funny! I have never ever really thought about that! But, I guess the cell phone will have to go with me as well!
ReplyDeleteHaha. Ok this is NOT where I thought this post was going. Glad you're not losing your colon! As for the actual dying on the throne, I'd never thought about it. Perhaps that's what those phones in the bathroom are for at my Grandma's old folks home....
ReplyDeleteHoly goodness! Really?!! THat's crazy!
ReplyDeletetry not to think of it as "the toilet" think of it as "the throne" then it doesn't seem so bad! haha
ReplyDeleteOMG the stuff you can find on the internet.
ReplyDeleteI was always afraid of dying in the shower, especially when I was single Like if I slipped and hit my head and nobody would know and I'd drown.
OMG...I've never thought of it...but now I will! How crazy!
ReplyDeleteNew blog follower! I love it! It's funny because I actually feel the say way about dying on the toilet, scares me! HaHa!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the laugh, I really needed it! Keep the funny posts coming!
ReplyDeleteI always take my phone in the restroom with me for this same reason (or just in case I go into labor).
oh man, what a stinky way to go! lol. get it? ;)
ReplyDeleteOh, agreed. That would be an AWFUL way to go. lol. ;)
ReplyDeleteI use to worry about that when I was younger! lol
ReplyDeleteWould it be wrong to admit that I occasionally carry on cell phone conversations in the bathroom? I guess I can now consider it a safety precaution...
ReplyDeleteinteresting. lol!
ReplyDeleteTagged you love!
ReplyDeleteI love random facts. It would be scary to die on the toliet and kinda lame.:( Good idea to bring your phone in with you...
ReplyDeleteDude, I have never thought about that. NOW I'm gonna have to have my cell on me at all times! ah ha ha
ReplyDeleteOK I'll admit to having thought about it. My friend is a paramedic...they get calls to the potty all the time!
ReplyDeleteYIKES. I have bad anxiety and I think about Elvis a lot. I have a heart condition too so I freak out--it is crazy but I guess everything in life is dangerous and we have to make the most out of everything...inlcuding peeing and pooping without the fear of dying---at least I know that I am not alone
ReplyDeleteIts kind of weird that so many Royals died there...
ReplyDeleteThat would be very unfortunate. I hope you don't die on the toilet either :)
ReplyDeleteI am an ER nurse and I am sad to report that you will probably have at least one near death experience or die on the toilet. When people feel bad they make a bee-line for the bathroom and then they keel over. That is part of the problem...you fall off the toilet with your pants down and subsequently lose all bowel and bladder control while laying/croaking on the bathroom floor! It happens all the time.
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh this was so funny!
ReplyDeleteI mean really he probably did die *on* the toilet and fell off of it. So yeah still bad news bears.
