One of my very best friends and I are trying to go on a tropical adventure/vacation and we can't decide where to. Her suggestion is Bali...
My suggestion was Fiji.
Then once we started thinking about we narrowed it down to 4 places. Here's where you guys come in. Help us decide which one! Vote in the poll, at the top of my right sidebar. We just can't decide which would be more fabulous!
Besides deciding all my vacation days for next year (which my work requires) and holiday shopping. I've been enjoying all my Thanksgiving leftovers, wrapping presents and oh... I'm getting my hair cut and colored later today! New do for me!
I have only been to Hawaii (Maui) which was pretty awesome but I'm pretty sure you can't go wrong with a tropical vacation.

ReplyDeleteI saw Hawaii on the list, and not that it isn't fabulous, but it seems tame compared to the other choices, but then I remember that if you aren't on the West coast it's a much longer flight and more of an adventure. It is fabulous, I've been there a couple of times and it's been my fav get away the past couple of years... but I'm going to vote for something GRAND and foreign.
Fiji is my dream. My vote will always be for Fiji :-)

ReplyDeleteAnd I left a comment last post, but I vote Bali or Australia. I've been to all the places listed, and Fiji was kind of overrated! It's basically Hawaii, only far more expensive, I just wasn't a fan. Bali is my favorite!! I've been there lots with my family; it's gorgeous and you can't beat Indonesia! :) Also, if it's tropical you are looking for, you should look into Phuket! It's gorgeous and less expensive after the tsunami hit Thailand. :)
I just spent a week in Bali at the beginning on October. DEFINITELY go there!!! You're money goes such a long way in Indonesia. My in-laws live there and they live it!
