Theater Thursday

It's Thursday and that can only mean one thing around here... It's Theater Thursday! I've been doing Theater Thursday posts since I started this little, old blog of mine. Now for 2012, I'm going to be doing things a little differently. Everyone seemed to love my holiday theme posts for the Christmas season so what not continue with themes? This month is going to be all 90's classics. This week's featured movie is none other than, Getting Even With Dad
In 1994, Macauley Culkin stared as Timmy, a burden child who was being watched by his aunt Kitty (Kathleen Wilhoite). When Kitty got married she knew she couldn't take Timmy with her so she dropped him off unexpected to his father Ray (Ted Danson).

Timmy hasn't lived with his father since his mother died and his father was sent to prison on a robbery charge. Now that he's out and Timmy will be hanging with his father, he'll get in the way of his dad's new plan... a coin heist.

Timmy soon realizes what's happening and plans on teaching his father and his two goon friends a lesson. After hiding the stolen coins from there and after years of being ignored he sets a plan of having his father and his friends do exactly what he tells them. They go to the amusement park, shopping, etc. OR he'll report them to the police.

If you've never seen this movie, it's a 90's classic and a memory of how good Culkin was as a child actor.
