I make it no secret. I love Christmas! I love the music, the movies, the decorations, the baking, trees, presents... you name it and if it's Christmas then I love it. So now that Halloween is over, I'm allowed to decorate the house. And before you Thanksgiving lovers scream, "What about Thanksgiving?!" Well my response is nothing goes better with the photos of the Turkey than a Christmas tree in the background. So there. So guess what happened when Halloween ended?
Christmas decorating! I've got two trees complete and a third one started. I've got 4 more trees to put up but I can't do those until after my bridal shower on Saturday. Want a little sneak peek at the finished ones? Well there's my red movie theme tree...
And our purple travel tree. We get an ornament everywhere we go in our travels and we started a tree last year that holds them all. This year we added three ornaments one being our wedding cake. Don't worry full photos of the trees coming soon.
I also broke out the Christmas cd's so I'll be singing White Christmas, Deck the Halls and the 12 days of Christmas songs from now until December 31st. I've also got my DVR working overtime recording all of the Hallmark Countdown to Christmas movies. I've added a lot to my collection over the last few months thanks to my mom! She finds them for me and sends them to me. I'm a sucker for ones starring Candace Cameron Bure This is one of my favorites...
What can I say, Christmas is my spirit animal. I could seriously live in this season all year long. It's my favorite. It is a little odd for me now to be driving around 75 degree weather singing white Christmas. I grew up in West Virginia with snowing holidays so I've at least got to experience them. Don't you just love the holidays!!!

The Red Movie Christmas Tree
If you've been following for awhile now, then you already know that I am crazy for Christmas. It is by far my most favorite time of the year. I've loved it since I was a kid and the love has grown over the years. When I became an adult, I started collecting ornaments and Christmas trees. I knew that one day I'd have the room to display all of them. I set out just buying ornaments that I really liked. Then I decided I wanted a candy tree. So I collected those ornaments, then I wanted a beach theme tree and then a movie theme tree. With every theme that was chosen, I would search out the ornaments and have so much joy getting them. Each tree is a labor of love. A love of the theme and a love of Christmas!
This is the movie tree...
It's a red tinsel tree with red lights. This is how it glows when the lights are out. This tree is 5 feet tall. Now on to the ornaments...
RIP Robin Williams.
Back to the Future by Hallmark
Love the National Lampoon Series.
What kind of garland would go on a movie tree? Well popcorn of course!
I also have a candy garland of things you would get at the theater... including M&Ms, Hersey kisses and candy bars.
I also have a lot of M&Ms ornaments on the tree because their candy you'd find at the theater.
