Top 2 Things You Collect!

1. Saint Candles. 

No, I'm not uber religious and no, I am not catholic. However, I do love Saint Candles. I don't know if it's all the bright colors and designs or what but I love adding to my growing collect. I think I about about 15 right now. 

2. Movies!

Hello?!? Remember my giant post talking about my Not So Secret Addiction of dvds ?! I have over 1,000 movies and the collection just keeps on growing and growing! What's pictured isn't even all of them!

Things you've learned from your parents or grandparents. 

Go for what you want! This is one of the many things I've learned from my mother.  She's been my cheerleader from day one. On days that I was tired, disgruntled, had no motivation she kept pushing me. She instilled in me the strength, determination and drive to always go for what you want the most. To keep trying and to never give up.

Be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle. My grandpa was probably one the nicest people you could ever meet. He grew up in the depression and lived a hard life. He understood that everyone was and could be going through challenging situations. He treated everyone with kindness, respect and dignity. In February of 2006 he passed away and it still feels like yesterday. He taught me a lot without me realizing it.

Things You've Learned About Friendship

1. True friends are always there. Year after year, day after day they listen to your problems, cheer for you, laugh with you and are there for you for all of life's big events. You can call a true friend and no matter where or when they'll be there if you need them. 

2. Friendships come and go for a reason. You end a friendship or lose friends because sometimes you drift apart or become so different there's nothing to stand on together. Those people were never really your friend... they were a convenient acquaintance. Accept the loss because the ones who do matter will always be there. 

In my 26 years of life, I've been fortunate enough to meet and become friends with some great people. To all of my friends out there, you're a treasure in my life!

Top 2 Strange Addictions

1. 80's Television Shows

I don't know what it is but I love tv shows from the 1980's! Everything from Matlock, The Love Boat, Dynasty, Vegas to Matt Houston. Maybe it's the cheesy outfits or the story lines but I think they're awesome! I'm always so excited when I find a new one on dvd to watch. 

2. Lotions & Body Spray

I don't know if this qualifies as strange but I love lotions and sprays! I probably have 25 bottles sitting on my vanity tray right now. I can't help it! If I go into Bath & Body Works or VS and smell something I like, I get it!

Top 2 Favorite Items from 2010

Even though I didn't get it until Christmas, I had been drooling over this watch all year. Now that I have it, I wear it non stop! I love it! 

As for my second item that I loved from the year, I'm at a loss. I mean don't get me wrong, I love stuff but nothing is coming to mind. Oh wait... my car! We celebrated in May our year anniversary and he's still running like a champ. He's up to 27,000 miles and going strong! 

Just call him Toby! And if you get that movie reference then I applaud you! lol

EDIT: After getting multiple messages asking me the reference... It's from Roots!

Top 2 Favorite Games!

I'm old school and still love my games to be board games. 

My First Choice...

I've always been a big fan of Clue. Who doesn't love a good game of Miss Scarlett in the library with the lead pipe? Or Mrs. White in the billiard room with the rope?

Mall Madness. This game could go on for hours! I loved it. I loved setting up the stores and hearing the prompts. I think this game helped add to my addition for shopping. I still have my vintage/classic version of this game. They have a new modern one but I'm still rocking the old school one from the early 1990's.

(Christmas Day 2009)

1. To be able to spend Christmas day with my entire family! With all of us not living in the same area and having jobs, I'm really hoping we can all make it home to spend Christmas day together!

2. Going back to Graceland. Even though it technically doesn't need to be on my wish list because I know I'm going to be back there in 3 weeks, it was still really important! Since I'm really into Christmas and I love Elvis, I thought it would be great to go and see it all decked out for holidays! I can't wait!

Two Things I'm Thankful For

1. My Mom. She's my biggest fan, cheerleader, motivator, rock, you name it. I love my Mom more than words could ever describe and I hope that one day I can do something amazing for her! Love you Mom!

2. Being able to travel. I love to travel. I love being out on the road. I love having my bags packed. I love exploring new cities and touring museums. If it's involved in a vacation then I love it! This year has been a great year of traveling for me and I hope next year will continue to be another year of travels! I've traveled so much I even made a travel site!

Top 2 Favorite Old Pictures

This is one of my favorite photos from my time studying in England. It was taken in Dover, England 2006, right after we had got on the ship to go to Paris, France. The 3 of us stuck together like glue and we'll always be good friends. 

This photo was taken at the Santa Monica Pier in May. Nothing better than a yummy corn dog, hanging out on the pier! Love it!

Two Fall Favorites

Top 2 Favorite Things About Fall

1. The Great Pumpkin House. If you've never heard of the pumpkin house then you're missing out! It's a house that's local to me and every October they carve thousands of pumpkins and display them outside their house. They have themes which range from every state outline to sports team to religious symbols and much more. They also do music/light shows with the pumpkins. It's really a sight to see. I blogged about it last fall here.

2. Fall Foliage. I love seeing the leaves change. I love the vibrant colors and seeing all the different hues of orange and red. Since West Virginia is a mountain state, we've got tons of trees to show off the fall. It's makes the cooler temps more enjoyable and knowing that we're going into the winter months. 

I almost picked baking because because once the fall hits, I bake cookies, brownies and muffins non stop!

Top 2 Characters You Would Want to Play on a TV Show or Movie

1. Kathy Griffin, My Life on the D-List. 

I know she can rub people the wrong way but I think she's hilarious! I love her show, I love her stand up and I love her mom Maggie. I love that she spares no mercy for anyone when it comes to her comedy show. If you interact with her, she's going to talk about it! I also love the fact that she's such a tight ass with her money and that she worships Suzanne Summers. Plus she'll do anything for a little publicity, including hanging out with my secret crush, Levi Johnson.

2. Pudge (Annabeth Gish) in the movie Shag. 

Shag is one of my ALL time favorite movies and Pudge is by far my favorite character in the movie. Her real name in the movie is Caroline but everyone calls her Pudge because she's perceived as a little bigger than the other girls. She loves to shag dance and on the girls trip she meets Chip, a guy who wants a pen pal to have once he's away for navy training. I don't want to ruin the movie if you've never seen it, but I love it! I love the ending and I love seeing Pudge become her own woman!
