A Red Movie Tree

Yesterday I shared my blue Christmas beach tree. Today I'm sharing another one of my theme trees and it shows off one of my favorite things... movies! I have a candy apple red tinsel tree that's decorated all in a movie theme. I've got film ornaments and candy on it that you'd find at the theater. I only pick out my favorite movies to feature on the movie tree so all of these ornaments come from movies that I love. Each year, I add to it with Hallmark ornaments that come out and with ornaments that I can find.

If you'd like to see more photos of the movie tree you can see some here. Missed some of the Christmas in July celebration? Don't worry! You can catch up here. Don't want to miss any of the fun this year? Come follow me on Instagram at Jmomiller.

The Red Movie Christmas Tree

If you've been following for awhile now, then you already know that I am crazy for Christmas. It is by far my most favorite time of the year. I've loved it since I was a kid and the love has grown over the years. When I became an adult, I started collecting ornaments and Christmas trees. I knew that one day I'd have the room to display all of them. I set out just buying ornaments that I really liked. Then I decided I wanted a candy tree. So I collected those ornaments, then I wanted a beach theme tree and then a movie theme tree. With every theme that was chosen, I would search out the ornaments and have so much joy getting them. Each tree is a labor of love. A love of the theme and a love of Christmas!

This is the movie tree...
It's a red tinsel tree with red lights. This is how it glows when the lights are out. This tree is 5 feet tall. Now on to the ornaments...

RIP Robin Williams.
Back to the Future by Hallmark
Love the National Lampoon Series.
What kind of garland would go on a movie tree? Well popcorn of course!
I also have a candy garland of things you would get at the theater... including M&Ms, Hersey kisses and candy bars.
I also have a lot of M&Ms ornaments on the tree because their candy you'd find at the theater.

And that's just a little glimpse of the movie tree!
