This stuff is amazing for volume in your hair. My hair stylist used it on my hair and I loved it. The bottle lasts forever.

I haven't participated in a Sunday Social for awhile and I really liked this week's questions so here we go...

 

1. What do you value most in life?

I value my mom and family the most. I'm really close to my mom and I don't know what I would do without her. She's the one person I have always been able to count on.

2. What do you think is the greatest invention in your life and why?
The internet. Hands down. I can remember being about 12 years old and getting on AOL for the first time. It was this crazy, new cool thing that was coming into every household. I would sit in front of the computer and wait for dial tone to finally go through and see my gray screen welcome me to AOL. Technology blossomed and has went from there. I had a pager, a nokia and then the surge of Apple products. It's how we communicate, gets news, stay in touch, conduct business etc.

3. What do you think is the secret to a good life?
Finding a job that you really enjoy and love to do. If you love what you do then you're happy while doing it ie, for the majority of your days. In turn that good mood can make you have a positive outlook on your life and situations. A happy life is a good life.

4. What would you most like to be remembered for when you're gone?
I'd like to be remembered as someone who was unique. I don't march to the beat of everyone else's drum. I'd like to be remembered for that. Plus the fact that I like to make people laugh.

5. What accomplishment in your life are you most proud of?I would normally say, "Graduating college" but not anymore. I'm proud of being independent, picking up my life and moving 2,500 miles across the country and not knowing anyone. That's a move people. That's something to be proud of... at least I think so.

This is a Brahmin large Duxbury Satchel in Cocoa. It can be mine for the price of $295.00 and can be found online here. Isn't it a classic?!?

My Birthday celebration with my mom...

I don't care what the haters say... I love wearing these print pants.


3. What is one thing you wish you'd gotten to do this summer?
Visit Lake Tahoe. I'd love to see it in the winter as well so maybe I'll make that happen and then next Summer I'll get to Tahoe.

I seriously love this show. I can't wait for the season finale tomorrow and then it's return. I might have to read the 1,000 page book while I'm waiting on the next season to start.

 Working a job that I like. Married. One kid.

 The holidays! I love Christmas and Thanksgiving!

 To get more people to comment. I remember the days of when I'd get 50 comments a day. I always love the interaction.

 Well I moved here last year. I don't know. I'll probably retire out of state.

Be outside. Swim. Basically anything outside.

Getting back outside. Having a clean car. Reorganizing.

Keeping warm. Snuggling. Watching movies and eating popcorn.

I like the winter because of the holidays but I love summer!!!

1. What was your first car?

It was an early 1990's black Pontiac Grand Am 2 door.

2. Who was your favorite childhood teacher?

2nd grade, Miss Arrowood. She was always so fun!

I was a majorette. It all started in the 5th grade! I competitively twirled in middle school and then I was a majorette in high school and in college as well.

I had a bowling party when I was young and I remember a lot of it!

Keanu Reeves and he still is!!! Love him!

6. What show/movie did your parents not allow you to watch?

You have to remember, The Simpsons was new when I was a kid. Parents were upset with how Bart talked to his parents. How Homer drank around his kids, etc. To this day I think I've only seen one episode ever. Probably because I never watched it as a kid! lol

2. Why do you blog?

I love to share my life with family and friends. Now that I've moved 2,600 miles away from my family, it's a way to keep in contact and in touch. I also love the people that I've met through blogging and in the blog community!

Sadly she doesn't blog anymore but it was called Just Another Day in Paradise.

4. What is your favorite post you wrote in 2012?

I wrote 203 blog posts in 2012 so it would be too hard to narrow it down to just one favorite but this one: Turning off the Noise , is up there in my favorites.

5. What are your blogging goals for 2013?

I would love to get more followers. I mean who wouldn't? I love it when people read what I write and join in with the comments.
