To Vlog or Not to Vlog?

To vlog or not to vlog? That is the question. Wait, maybe I should clarify just incase not everyone knows what that term is. Vlog is slang for video blogging. In a video blog you actually get to see and hear the person speak. Usually, they're short video's and often focus on a certain topic.

I keep hearing and seeing everyone do video blogs but I've never done one. When I sit and think about doing one, I never know what to say. I know that sometimes when I see a video blog on someone's page that I follow I get pretty excited because I'll be able to put a voice to their face. Sooo.....

Should I do a video blog and if so what should I talk about? If you have any ideas or want to ask me some questions to answer in a video blog please ask!! If not it'll basically turn into a giant ramble and no one wants that!

450th Post! Your Questions Answered!

Wow! This is my 450th post and honestly I never thought this day would happen. When I first set out blogging I had no idea that I'd actually stick with it, enjoy and love interacting with other bloggers. Looking back at it now, I'm really glad that I began to blog. It's allowed a lot of great things to happen in my life.

In honor my 450th post, I opened up the floor to any questions you may have. So without further ado, your questions answered.

Kendra asked, "Of all the places you've traveled, Which place was your favorite?" Outside of the USA- London England. Inside the US- Los Angeles, CA.

Kassie asked, "If you were running out of the house from a fire, What would you grab? Things not people/pets." Photographs. We keep photos and negatives all in one place. Clothing, furniture and everything else can be replaced. Photos are really important to me and some of those could never be replaced.

Aimee asked, "When did you discover you wanted to travel a lot? I've traveled since I was a child but I knew it was something I wanted to do often when I was in middle school. How do you travel a lot? I'm going with luck. I also save, plan out and go on the cheap. How do you get time off work? Well I'm lucky because my normal work week is only 4 days so that's 3 days off a week right there. I also get a total of 19 paid vacation days a year so that helps. Best vacation experience ever? Los Angeles, CA and the first time I ever left the country to go to England. Where is the one place you haven't gone to that you would be super disappointed if you were never able to go?" Egypt. I've always wanted to see the pyramids. (Aimee, you asked for specific examples of some things for a more detailed answer please e-mail me)

Love Jenny Xoxo asked, "What is the biggest turn off in a guy?" Smoking.

Mariahsmile asked, "How do you find your deals for trips? I have a AAA membership, I find the cheapest outlet to book hotels, airfare and attractions be it on their official sites or discount. What is your favorite thing at Sephora? The eye shadows. What is your favorite movie and television show of all time?" Movie-Back to the Future/Shag. Tv- The West Wing/ Mission Impossible.

JG asked, " What are your goals for the rest of the year? Continue to pay off debt. What do your Saturdays typically look like?" I work on Saturdays. So I'm usually up around 7am and continue to work the majority of the day. Once I'm off, I'll run a few errands and relax.

Kelly & Sara asked, "If you were invisible for 1 day what would you do? I would follow someone else to see what their life is like and what they're really like in private. If you won the lottery, honestly what's the first thing you would do? Pay off debt. What is your favorite book and movie?" Book- Choke by Stuart Woods, Movie- See above.

Samnhal asked, "If money wasn't a problem, where is the one place that you would go for a 2 week vacation?" Somewhere tropical like Tahiti or Bora Bora and be in one of those huts on the water.

Still have a question or want to know something else? Please feel free to ask, if it's not something you want to post on here then e-mail me. Thanks everyone! Here's to another 450 posts!

Reaching a Monument!

I just realized that my 450th post is coming up soon and I can't let that pass without something! So, I've decided to do a questions and answers post. Along with giving away a little something.
So I'm opening the floor to questions. Have something you want to ask me? Feel free. I'll answer the question in my 450th post and have the giveaway up. I'm still trying to incorporate my traveling into the giveaway.

Besides realizing my post numbers. I'm trying to determine my next big road trip and I can't decide between either...
Washington DC
or
Texas

Getting to Know ME!

This is my second time to participate and I'm excited! I usually wait for questions that I really like so here we go! Tomorrow the giveaway winner will be announced!
Getting to know YOU
1. If you were to win an award today, what would it be for? Realistically it would probably be a work-related award. They give those things out like toothbrushes at the dentist.
2. What is your shoe style? In the summer, I'm all about flip flops but when I'm dressing nicer I usually go with a tall heel. I am obsessed with nude pumps this year!
3. Does your car reflect your personality? I think so! I drive this beauty and I love it! It's fun, affordable and gets me where I'm going!
4. If you could take over someone's body for a day...whose would you choose? I would choose Lady Gaga. I know some people can't stand her but I bet she leads a very interesting life on a day to day basis.
5. Love or be loved? Be loved.
6.If you were on death row, what last meal would you choose? Breakfast. It's my favorite meal of the day and I'm usually caught eating it for dinner. I'd go with a plate of bacon, scrambled eggs, hash browns and pancakes!
7. Have you been on vacation this Summer, if so where? Yes! I've been to...
and next week I'm going to...
8. What is your favorite food related guilty pleasure? Chocolate covered cashews. They're amazing! If you've never had them, try them.

Get to Know Me!

Getting to know YOU
This is my very first time participating in Getting to Know You Sunday! I really liked the questions so I thought I would join in!

1. If you had to choose a country to live in besides the USA (or the country you live in) which would it be? Hands down.... England. I did a study abroad program there while I was in college and loved it. I traveled all around England and just fell in love with it! My favorite places were London, York and Brighton. It was Amazing!

2. Which would be worse, wearing flip flops in the snow or wearing gloves in the summer? For me it would be flip flops in the snow. Once my feet get cold they take FOREVER (think Sandlot) to thaw out.

3. Fried or Baked and why? It depends on the food. I love fried potatoes but I love baked chicken.

4. If you were an entertainment reporter, which celeb would you love to interview and why? I have a huge love for Keanu Reeves but I don't know if I would have enough stuff to ask him. So I'd have to say probably go with Arnold Schwarzenegger.

5. What was your favorite book as a preteen/teenager? Choke by Stuart Woods. I read it when I was in the 9th grade and loved it. That's how I got addicted to Stuart Woods' books.

6. List your top 3 guilty pleasure television shows: Big Brother, Real Housewives, The Bachelor/Bachelorette.

7. What bumper sticker slogan best describes you/your attitude/your life? This one is really hard because I honestly hate bumper stickers. I think their giant eye sores. I do like the one that says Coexist with all the symbols.

8.If you were to join a circus- What performer would you be? That's easy, the ring leader!

Giveaway Winner! You Asked...I Answered Finale

Drumroll please..... The winner of my 300th post giveaway, chosen at random using random.org is... BSS! Send me an e-mail with your address and which design you want!

As promised here's the rest of the questions I was asked for my 300th post!
Katie asked: If you could live anywhere, where would it be? What is your dream career? Overseas I'd say England. In the United States, I'd say...California. I'd love to be able to Travel and get paid for it but I don't see that working out. I'd have to go with working for ICE.

SCH asked:What is your favorite thing to do with friends? What is the best date you've ever been on? I'm usually up for anything that's legal and fun. Going to the movies, shopping, eating out, working out, etc. As for the best date, I'm going to do a post on it for Valentines Day.

Allison asked:If you could be on any reality tv show what would you choose and why? If you could have any super power what would you choose and why? As for the tv show, I'd choose Big Brother. I think it'd be a lot of fun. If I couldn't be on that show then I'd want my own haha. The super power: Smiting. I've given it a lot of thought (we actually joke about this subject at work a lot). I think the reason why we don't have it is because of me. I think the higher powers above know that I would over use it.

Mrs. Ruby asked:What are the top three things you absolutely can't live without? (Can't be family or friends) :) #1 A link to the world whether it be tv, internet, phone. I need at least one of them at all times. #2 Face Wipes. If I don't clean my face with them at night then the next morning I'll be looking at the 14 year old version of me in the mirror. #3 Drive Thru's. There's always at least one night of the week I don't feel like cooking.

Jessica asked:Can you give us a description of that perfect guy for you? You know.. the one you've dreamed about since you were 2. The guy for me is someone who has a sense of humor, can laugh at anything and himself. Loves to travel, wants children, non smoker, adores me, doesn't play games, likes cuddling on the couch while staying in and is close in age to me. Is successful in his career and has goals. Know's who he is and where he wants to go in life.

Nat asked:If you were stranded on an island what 3 things would you take with you? #1 Chapstick. My lips blister in the heat something fierce! So that's a must have item at all times for me. #2 A book. I'd get extremely bored sitting there without television, the internet or a phone. So I'd need something to read. #3 Sunglasses. My eyes can't handle bright lights. Even during dark rainy days you'll see me in my car and outside still sporting the shades.

You Asked...I Answered Part 1

*Today is the last day to enter my giveaway, which can be found here.* The winner will be announced on Tuesday.

The giant snow storm that hit the east coast... it left my town with only 8 inches of snow. Thanks mother nature, it was a big let down for me. However, tonight a friend and I are going gambling and to see Dear John. I have mixed emotions about seeing it. I've read the book and I hated the ending. So we'll see...

In honor of my 300th post, I gave the opportunity to ask me anything. You asked...you shall receive... Enjoy! PS: You guys asked me so many questions that I've had to break it up into 2 posts. This is post 1.

Dollface asked: What is the craziest shenanigan you have ever been involved in?! Would you do it again? Why or why not? Honestly, there's been so many that I don't think I could give just 1 example. Most of my shenanigans are fun so yes, I'd do it again.

AmberDenae,MrsEyeCanSee & Shoshanah asked:What got you into blogging? I was at a Beach Boys Concert, looked around and realized that I was 1 of only 2 people in the place under the age of 45. I knew then that I had to document my crazy life. Plus I was bored, wasn't working and didn't have anything else to do.

KS asked:Where did you grow up? I grew up in a place called Huntington. If you've ever seen the movie We Are Marshall then you know exactly where I grew up.

K asked:If you could go anywhere in the world where would you go and why?? If I had to pick a place that I've never visited I'd say Australia. It just seems so amazing there. If I could go back to somewhere I've been..hands down London, England. I love that place.

Kpod asked:You have mentioned living in a few different places in the past few years .. I am curious as to what brought you to these places and how you ended up back where you are? I've moved because of work and people. I ended up back where I'm at for my current job. However, I'm gearing up for another move. Trust me it's gonna be big news!

Brittany asked:What is your dream car?? If you were to have a baby right now what would you name him/her? Dream Car-A Range Rover. Baby names- Wheaton & Sadie (I love both of them).

Allison asked:How did you meet your beau? If, of all your movies, you had to pick just one. ONE that you could watch for the rest of your life, what movie would you pick? I try to keep him off my blog but we in school. I could watch the movie Shag for forever. It my 1st real movie post on here as well. Here's the link

JG asked:if you could achieve any one thing this year, what would it be? That would be my goal of being debt free.

Laura&Ryan asked:Where do you hope to be in 5 years? Traveling, married, happy, working a job I love.

Shoshanah asked:If you could change one thing in your past what would it be? What's your favorite flavor of ice cream? You seem to read almost every blog I do, and I'm sure even more! How do you find all the blogs you read? And how do you keep up with them all? My motto is "Everything Happens for a reason" I don't regret anything. I'm a simple girl, I love vanilla/chocolate ice cream. The blogs I follow, I always try to read. I may not comment on every single one but I read them. I usually find a blog by reading someone else's. Most of the time my google reader is exploding.

Llama asked:What is your dream job? My dream job would be to travel and get paid for it. However, I don't think that'll ever happen. I currently work for the government but I'd love to end up working for ICE.

Didn't see your question? Check back tomorrow. It'll be answered tomorrow.
