The Good
The Olympics are coming! I love the Olympics and I always try to watch as much as I possibly can. It doesn't matter if it's summer or winter, I always soak up the spirit of the games. I can't wait for this years because their in one of my favorite places... London! In the summer games the swimming and gymnastics are always my favorite sports to watch.
The Bad
Lately, life has been getting me down. I think it's been a big combination of a lot of things going on. I'm working my way out of debt which is hard. I'm working everyday in an environment that isn't all rainbows and sunshine. Plus my birthday is coming up next month and I'm turning the big 28 and this one has me a little down. As my mom would say, buck up! So I need to work on that.
The Ugly
The fact that FOX cancelled Alcatraz. I mean really Fox, what were you thinking?? This show was really good and it was just starting to get really interesting. How do they ever expect people to watch their new shows when they keep pulling the plug on them so quickly. They did the same thing with Terra Nova. No wonder people aren't watching the new shows because you can't get invested in something if you think it's going to be gone in a second.

A ton of shows got cancelled and a few of them seemed a little strange. But I didn't watch any of them so... yay to that I guess!
come to my house tonight. spend the weekend with me. We will go out and have some fun. Scotty is going to be leaving tonight so it will just be the two of us.
oh gosh, i know!!! fox always cancels its shows way too soon. what gives!?!?

Ahh I'm working my way out of debt too... not fun. But you will feel better once it's done! Every bit if progress makes me feel a little bit better- good luck and have a great weekend!
I was sad turning 28 too!! but it doesnt feel any different :)
I SO agree about the shows getting canceled thing. Ugh. But then I thought.. my FAVORITE shows are ones I started watching at Season 2, when they'd already been renewed. I need to stop getting so addicted to new shows b/c they always get canceled. I was HACKED to learn GCB got canned. Loved that show.
Sorry stuff has been getting you down, sister. I always tell myself the only thing that matters is how I react to situations.. so I TRY to react better. But, it's tough sometimes. And girl, trust me.. 28 aint no thang! When you introduce yourself and say you're 28, people think you're young, attractive, but you also mean business b/c you have some life experience under your belt. At 26, you're still just that girl who graduated college a few years ago. Trust me, 28 rocks. :)
Aw, I'm so sorry things have been a little rough - I find birthday time always a bit hard too!
i was sad that Alcatraz was cancelled, it was confusing but kept us interested...now we'll never know how or why they were taken off Alcatraz and now were coming back...i got worried when the main character was shot and killed, now i'll never know where that was leading....
