Theater Thursday

It's Thursday and that can only mean one thing around here... it's Theater Thursday! Every week, I choose a movie that I've watched and talk about it here. Usually it's something that I've enjoyed watching and think others would enjoy too. If you have a movie that you love, link up and share a movie you've watched recently that's available on dvd, Netflix, etc. This week's featured movie is, What's Your Number?
Anna Faris stars as Ally Darling, a twenty something girl who's reflecting on her sexual past. As her sister prepares to get married, Ally sees an article discussing that the average woman only sleeps with 10.5 guys in their lifetime. She immediately freaks out since her number is now 19. She decides the best way to keep her number from never raising is to go through her previous 19 affairs because one of them may have gotten better with age. She enlists her neighbor, Colin (Chris Evans) to help her find the guys.

He just wants one thing for his help... to be able to crash at her place while his random ladies each night, linger in the mornings. Ally agrees because she can't seem to find the guys on her own. As he helps bring up each guy from her past, Ally starts to get discouraged. She feels like she isn't going to find the one guy who will make her happy. She's determined that one guy from her past will be the one. All at the same time.... Colin and her begin to get close. Is it just a good friendship or his playboy ways starting to get old and she's starting to look like girlfriend material.

I was hesitant to watch this movie. I'm so glad I finally sat down to watch it though because it made me laugh and smile the entire time. If you've never seen it, watch it!

I felt the same way about this movie. I thought it would be cheesy (ok, it was a little) but it was really funny!

I actually remember this movie coming out, but I never saw it.

The one thing that seems weird is why she's incapable of finding the guys herself. Is Colin's character a spy? Or just better at google?

I really liked this movie as well! I was surprised more people aren't a fan of it, but I'm glad you finally saw it and enjoyed it.

Sounds like a good movie. Thanks for the review. I really need to join the rest of society and finally get Netflix :)
