What Not to say/do on a date Part 9

That's right folks! It's been a looooong time since I've done one of these BUT yesterday was a dooozie and I couldn't help but share.

If you've missed out on any of the previous editions of What not to say/do on a date then you can catch up with them here. I might add that yes... all of these awful and horrible things have happened to me while being on dates.

So this edition is a conversation that has now came back to haunt me! Protect your jaw, because it will be falling towards the floor in a minute....

Him: "I don't like you."
Me: "What do you mean?"
Him: "I do not like you"
Me: "Um, ok."
Him:" I don't even like you as a human being."
Me: "Wow! Tell me how you really feel."

So that lovely conversation took place awhile ago. However, the same person who said such things tried to be nice to me the other day. Um... news flash. By telling someone that you don't even like them as a human being, you burn a bridge. There's no bouncing back from that. Think before you speak....

Theater Thursday

It's Thursday folks and that can only mean one thing around here. It's Theater Thursday
This week's featured movie is Outrageous Fortune
Outrageous Fortune stars Lauren (Shelley Long) a struggling actress trying to make a break in NYC. Awaiting her next part she signs up for an acting class with the world renowned Shakespearian master Korzenowski (Robert Prosky). In this class she meets Sandy (Bette Midler), a waitress turned actress. Taking an instant dislike to each other the women never speak and laugh when the other fails in class participations. What Lauren and Sandy don't know is that they're dating the same man... Michael (Peter Coyote).
Michael a self proclaimed school teacher, has big plans involving both women. Taking them from New York City to the deserts of New Mexico, Sandy and Lauren had no idea that their lives would be flipped upside down.

George Carlin makes a hilarious appearance in this movie. If you've never seen it then you're missing out! This movie is available on dvd and can be found on my sites where dvds are purchased.

The Tale of the Pink Shoes

In the late fall of 2008, I went to Target on a random shopping trip and stumbled upon a pink pair of flats. They were on clearance going into the winter season. I bought them thinking I could wear them for the rest of the fall and then later again once it warmed up. I thought they were really cute and would be a great to wear with casual clothing.
Flash forward to 2010.
These shoes have become my favorite. They're so comfortable, I find myself slipping them on with everything. They've molded to my feet so they feel just right. I wish I would have bought 2 pairs of them because they've been nothing but amazing

I've taken them and worn them so many places. The pink shoes have been to Ohio, Kentucky, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Nevada, New Mexico, Texas, Tennessee and California.

Excuse me, while I go scour the internet looking for a never worn pair of them. My lovely shoes are almost completely worn thru to the soles and will sadly have to be retired in a few more months.
