This week's Christmas Themed Theater Thursday feature is Just Friends!Just Friends takes place over the holiday season in New Jersey and California. Just Friends follows the lives of Jamie (Amy Smart) and Chris (Ryan Reynolds) 10 years after they've graduated high school.
Chris (Reynolds) who use to be obese in high school has grown up into a very successful and thin record label executive who left NJ for California. Jamie (Smart) once the most popular girl in school and Chris's old best friend has stayed behind in NJ to become a teacher.
While Chris is jet setting across the country on his way to Paris with one of the most popular music stars Samantha (Ana Faris) they make an emergency landing in NJ.
Being trapped in his hometown for at least a night Chris goes back to a local hang out. He runs into his old best friends and Jamie. He realizes that all of the old emotions he had for her come to the surface and he must get her to like him. The only problem is he's suppose to be leaving town the next morning and he has a super star client to babysit and deal with it.
This movie is a holiday must him. Plus hello...Ryan Reynolds makes great eye candy!

Ryan Reynolds melts my heart. This movie cracks me up every time. When he is so chubby and silly, it's perfect. Ha, great choice this week!
I saw the picture, and right away said to myself "Yeay-- another xmas movie!" I'm happy you're sticking with that theme.
I have to say Chris fighting with the younger brother and the bro's girl-like screaming was... the... funn-iest!
Oohhhhhh yes, Ryan Reynolds is so hot! He almost ruined it for me when he went crazy in Amityville Horror, but not quite! He's still hot, crazy look and all!
I'm hoping to pick up The Proposal today or tomorrow, have you seen it yet?
I must admit I do have a crush on Ryan! I do love this movie, but then again if he sat on my TV screen for 2 hours and said nothing I would be satisfied :)
Oh man, I can only watch this movie either on very little sleep or on a lot of alcohol. In which case it's HILARIOUS! Otherwise....Ryan Reynolds loses me. But it is a fun movie.
