California & Theater Thursday

Today is the day! I am on my way to California! Cross your fingers for no delays or cancellations because we have plans tonight and there's no room in the schedule for sitting at the airports longer than expected. Don't forget to enter my giveaway if you haven't already!

Even though I'm on my way to California today... I couldn't let Theater Thursday go un-noticed!

This week's featured movie is, Police Academy!

Making it's debut in 1984 and under the leadership of a new lady mayor, the city is eliminating it's requirements for the entrance to the Police Academy. Which means everyone is applying and showing up for training including misfit Mahoney (Steve Guttenberg), rich girl Karen (Kim Cattrall) and even a florist named Moses (Bubba Smith). 

Not wanting the Academy to completely lose face one of the instructors, Lt. Harris makes it his mission to weed out the people he sees unfit to wear the uniform. Along the way, we get to see crazy schemes, friendships evolve and officers made. If you've never seen this movie, you must get it. It's a classic! I mean... they made 6 of them in the series, so you know the first has to have been good.
