Vacation Recap!

I may have to break this up into 2 posts because we ended up doing a lot! So let's jump right in with days 1 and 2. 

The first night after we saw Evan, Ana and some other Dancing with the Stars folks, we watched the Stars on Ice show at the Staples Center. Here's a little clip of the ice skating: well blogger is being ridiculous so I'll have to edit this in later when it's working

After we left the Staples Center, we headed back to our hotel, which was the hotel Roosevelt. Since the famous Chinese Theater is right across the street, we decided to see some of the famous foot prints and walk along the hollywood stars. We also ended up hanging out by the pool till the wee hours of the morning. See slideshow...

The next morning, we had tons of things we wanted to see and do so we got started bright and early. First thing up, breakfast! We ate at a really great place over on Sunset called Swingers. It was amazing and if you're ever in the area, I highly recommend it. Then we went to the Warner Brothers Studio and also did the Paramount Tour. We got to tour the sets of Dr. Phil, The Doctors and Hung. I really recommend the Paramount tour over WB. We also went to the Griffith Observatory and the views of L.A. were breathtaking. The night views made me want to move there!

After that we did one of the bus tours where you tour the stars homes. We also stumbled upon a vintage clothing store. Let me tell you, I was in HEAVEN! I ended up buying so much there, I had to have it shipped home. I'll post about that stuff once it arrives. After that we headed out to dinner at Frank and Musso's which I thought was just ok.
