Theater Thursday

It's Thursday and that can only mean one thing! It's Theater Thursday! This week's featured movie is actual a television mini series that was shown on HBO. It's also available on dvd and won tons of awards. It's none other than, From the Earth to the Moon. 

The series which was a huge project for Tom Hanks, focuses on the early days of NASA all the way through the end of the Apollo missions. It accurately tells the story of the missions, their successes and failures from the very beginning all the way until the last Apollo mission. 


It features tons of celebrities and is a great way to learn history without feeling like it's a lesson. I personally loved this mini series and bought the dvd set. If you love anything to do with history, space and NASA, then you'll love this one for sure!!
