Positivity

It all started last Tuesday. 

I was having one of those days at work. You know the kind I'm talking about. Where there is a moment that you think to yourself, "I can't keep doing this" or "I'm not going to make it!" I was deep in the throws of one of those. I had even sent a text to my mom saying, "If I didn't have a mortgage, I'd consider quitting." I think we've probably all had one of these kinds of days in our work life. Who knows maybe you haven't? Good for you. 

So I was deep in the throws of negativity and wondering if I was ever going to start my new job within my job. They said it could take a little time but when you are having one of those days just thinking to tomorrow is hard enough. That's when it finally came.... the call! I was going to start my new job within my job the next morning. 

Wednesday was all positive. Thursday was even more positive. Friday  was rolling in the positivity. I am loving it! I'm around some really great people. The work load has been right up my alley and I've been coming into contact with people that I would never have made a connection with. So far it's been really great! 

Did I mention that I get a new schedule with this job? Yep! In another week, no more getting up in the middle of the night (2:15am people!) to go to work. I'll be having a normal life again. I won't be going to bed at 7:00p.m or eating dinner at 4:00p.m. I can't say thank goodness enough! I mean really... this is such a huge blessing and gift. The waking up in the middle of the night has been really rough and hard to get use to. The majority of the people on the shift are nice but no one really wants to be at work at three in the morning! 

Now that so much positivity has came into my life, I'm going to try to keep it going on a roll! I just need to make it through my yearly tests and keep my job and it'll be smooth sailing from there! Those are coming up in the next two weeks so keep your fingers crossed for me! I've got two more tests to go! I'm going to even keep hanging in there when Valentines Day rolls around this week and I'll be celebrating alone. Chin up! Smile on!
