My latest read on the journey of reading is, The Dangerous Days of Daniel X.
This book was actually given to me and it's typically not the type of subject I would read. Don't get me wrong, I've read a lot of James Patterson books but this one isn't just his average murder mystery novel. Daniel X has more of a science fiction aspect.
Daniel X is not your average American. He's not even your actual human because he's an alien from another planet. As a young child his parents were killed leaving him all alone in the world to figure out where he came from, what he was and what his mission in life would and should be. What his parents did leave him was a laptop with a hit list on it. The major players from other worlds who are out to destroy earth. Daniel has made it his mission to fight for us and for the memory of his parents.
He can control things and not just his own emotions. He can create things, people and places. Daniel X is our only hope.
If you like James Patterson books and a little science fiction with mystery then this is your read. Check it out! This is actually the first book in the Daniel X series and I can't wait to pick up the second one to read. It's an intriguing series and now I'm sucked in!

huh, I've never heard of this book and haven't read any James Patterson before. Perhaps I'll have to check it out.
