Beezy and I celebrated America's Birthday by going to Raley Field in downtown Sacramento. This was the second year that Raley Field home of the River Cats baseball team has hosted the event.
Food trucks, a live band, a grass field filled with blankets and fireworks. It was a great way to spend the 4th of July. Beezy and I picked the Bacon Mania food truck.
We got the Mac and Cheese Bacon French Fries.
And OMG! They were amazing. It was like my three favorite things came together for one time and the result was amazing. I'm going to try to recreate them at home. Beezy also got a "hog" sandwich and he said it was good.
We had a really great time and it was a perfect way to spend the evening of our nation's Birthday!
