Beezy and I got ready for the event and dressed for an afternoon into evening event.
I wore a vintage inspired dress that I got from an online store called, Eshakti. I wanted to have my shoulders covered because the ceremony and reception were both taking place outdoors. In the evenings it's been getting chilly.
We knew when we got the invitation that this wedding wasn't going to be like any other's we've been too. They had a specific theme...
It was apparent, as soon as we walked through the doors of Firehouse....
The isle runner was green with T-Rex footprints to lead the way. They also had dinosaurs to hold the place cards of guests. You had to find the larger dinosaur at your table that matched the card.
They also had some T-Rex props that you could snag a selfie with and of course we did...
They also had a caricature drawer. Beezy and I stood in line for over an hour at this wedding to get one drawn. She did it on her ipad and printed them out right there for you. We were super excited because we had a caricature drawn in Puerto Rico and loved it. This one... not so much. We got it back and thought it was horrible. We wondered if she even looked at us or just decided this is what she thought we looked like. Anyways... here's the finished product.
Who are those people? Surely not us!
We had a really fun time at their wedding and we thought their theme was cute! If you loved Jurassic Park then this was totally your wedding!

What a cute idea- I've never heard of a Jurassic Park themed wedding! I love all of the little things they used to incorporate their theme. Love your dress too!

Looked like fun. The cake is gorgeous, yum, the table setting I would have played with and the place cards were cute.
I think they did a great job of having a really fun theme without letting it totally take over. What a fun wedding!
