A Christmas Village

Have you ever seen those little light up houses in people's homes at Christmas time? More than likely they are set up as a Christmas Village. I first really learned about Christmas Villages about 5 years ago. I saw these amazing Department 56 villages at a store in Pigeon Forge.

Department 56 is one of the most popular brands of Christmas Villages. They have many different lines but my favorite one by far is the Snow Village.

It's all of these little homes, restaurants, stores and scenes. You can totally make them your own. You could own the same buildings, trees, etc but it's how you put them together that makes them unique. This is the newest additions to the Snow Village line and their the buildings from National Lampoons Christmas Vacation....

Department 56 makes everything you could possibly need to make your village looking like a real town. They have trees, snow, bridges, restaurants, car garages, hotels, shops... the possibilities are endless. If you want something less modern they even have a Charles Dickens village...

So this year will you start yourself a Christmas village? I've always wanted to! Have you missed any of my other Christmas in July posts? Don't worry! You can catch up here.
