Saturday Smiles

Every Saturday, I try to post 5 things that made me smile during the week. Often I find myself getting caught up in the small stuff but this year I'm making an effort to be conscious of it. This year is about being happy and finding happiness even in the small things! Want to join me? Go ahead and post your Saturday Smiles!

1. Fabric.
I'm gearing up to work on a craft project at the end of the month and I've been collecting fabrics. Now I can't stop! I keep seeing tons of patterns/colors that I want! I'm horrible at adding things to my amazon cart and leaving it there. I think I have about 8 Jelly Fabric Rolls sitting in my cart.

2. Packages from my Mom.
I love when I get real mail from my mom. Living so far apart is hard but it's always nice when I get some goodies in the mail from her. I also try to send her things as well so she can have the same feeling. I recently sent her some wedding photos in an album. I think she liked it!

3. Staycation.

I have 5 days off in a row and while we were originally planning on trying to go on a vacation during this time it just didn't work out that way. I'm still smiling because I have the 5 days off from work! We do have a day trip planned though!

4. Muir Woods.

We went there on Easter Sunday last week and had a fun time. We were also able to add to our travel tree. The gift shop had ornaments! Anytime we travel or go somewhere new we look to see if they have an ornament for our tree or something that I can make into an ornament. They had tons of different ornaments and we got one!

5. My Realtor Husband.

This smart man sold two houses this month! He became passionate about real estate last summer and set out to become an agent and that's exactly what he did! Flash forward to March and he works with a huge company and is putting his clients into their dream homes. If you need a realtor in the Sacramento area let me know! I know a good one...

What's making you smile?

These are such great reasons to smile. I totally agree that my husband and fabric/crafty supplies always bring a grin to my face!
