A Fail & A Hopeful Week Win!

Love books? Don't forget to enter my giveaway
While cheese heads around the world were uniting in the Super Bowl victory, I was having an epic Super Bowl fail. I had been a glutton all day long at work. We had brought in tons of food and desserts for the Super Bowl party at work. Well what happens when you're at work for 12 hours looking at a mountain of food? You eat it... all day long. By the time 9pm had rolled around I felt so sick from eating that I went to sleep. I even missed the half-time show!

Oh well, maybe next year I can keep the eye lids open!

As for this week, it's another week of counting down to March. I'm waiting to hear some big news and until then I feel like I can't really make vacation plans. I am however, planning another trip up to Pittsburgh to see my bff Kristin. Woohoo! Can't wait!

Something else I'm excited for.... on Saturday I'll be seeing A Heart That's True featuring Dwight Icenhower.

Dwight is one of the only Elvis tribute artists to work full time and has been recognized by Graceland. I'm a big fan of Elvis and his music so I'm excited to see the show!

I actually realized after the Superbowl that I'd barely eaten all day. How weird is that?

Phil and I pigged out Sunday on pizza and artichoke dip and today I feel so yuck! The game was pretty good (I watched most of it I'd say) but the only good thing about the halftime show was that Slash made an appearance!

Haha, happens with food. :) And I stayed up until the half-time show and then had to go get some zzzzz's. :( Stupid time difference. :( So, you are excused! ;)

Since we live in Mountain time, the game started at 4:30. It was so weird. :)

Don't worry - you didn't miss much with the halftime show.

And your upcoming Elvis show sounds fun!

I totally do that! If the food is there, I am eating it. Luckily I didn't go to any parties so it wasn't too hard to avoid the greasy superbowl food. Hopefully your stomach ache is gone!

Ha! I fell asleep too. I have more of a food hangover today than I did on Black Friday.

I adore how much you love Elvis.

And I'm still keeping my fingers crossed for you.

If it weren't the Steelers, I would have definitely checked out early, too.
