Theater Thursday
It's Thursday and that can only mean one thing, it's Theater Thursday! This week's featured movie is, Youngblood
Did you love The Mighty Ducks or Miracle? Well then you'll love this 1986, classic Patrick Swayze and Rob Lowe film. Dean Youngblood (Lowe) is a great hockey player living and skating in Canada. He begins playing on a minor league team and is looking to get scouted to the big show of the NHL. The only problem is, is that he lacks the ability to up stand the brutality and fighting of the game.
Once his mentor Derek Sutton (Swayze) is hurt by a rival team member Dean realizes that he needs more than just good skating ability to make it. He also realizes that it's important to stand up to bullies and not to run away.
If you've never seen this movie, get it! It's a classic sports movie with good actors and good story line.

Well I love Mighty Ducks so chances are I'll love this too!
I haven't seen this movie in ages but I remember that when it came out the big thing was that you see Rob Lowe's butt in it! Ha ha!

I really did love the Mighty Ducks! I'll see if Netflix has this one.
I never watched this movie, but I am not much into sport movies.. Well, who knows, maybe I will give it a chance :)
