The house tour continues! If you've missed the other two editions you can check them out here...
Before I moved into the house, the kitchen had been completely re-done. They had put in new cabinets, stainless steel appliances and all new granite counter tops. They had also completely re-done the wood floors in the kitchen, dining room and living room. The hard work was done! Thank goodness.
The Before:
After...
New wood flooring and all new cabinets
Those white owls are finding a new home now in the house
can you tell what I was making?
Stainless steel dishwasher because actually hand washing dishes grosses me out!
These postcards are a work in progress. I thought I'd put up one from all the places I've been and collected over the years of travels.
There's a window in my kitchen but I have yet to get curtains for it. If you notice all of the canisters on my counter, they are vintage and from a 1970's collection called Merry Mushroom. I'm trying to get the matching curtains but they can be hard to find. Whenever they do come up online they can be really expensive! When I update the kitchen, I'll be sure to follow up on here.

My mom makes most of my curtains.
I love the kitchen decor!
LOVE IT!!!!!! My grandparents have those canisters - every time I see them it gives me sweet memories :) Maybe someday I will have them! :) I hope you find your curtains!!!
I love all of your owl decorations. Handwashing dishes grosses you out? haha, now that we have a dishwasher sometimes I forget to use it because we didn't have one for like 3 years.
stop putting pierogies in the oven!!!! you are upsetting my people!
Loving your flooring and your owl decor!
You have so much counter space! And we still haven't put up new curtains in our kitchen. Although the previous owners left theirs so there are curtains. They just aren't necessarily what I'd pick out.
I love those floors! And I love your vintage canisters! They're so cute!
Want to hear something crazy? We have a dish washer, but Inspector Climate thinks it's a waste ... and thus we haven't used it!
I love the kitchen and all your kitchen stuff. Wooden floors are a must for me, there is just something so beautiful about them compared to other types of flooring. You're doing such a great job with your new home xoxox
