Theater Thursday

It's Thursday and that can only mean one thing... it's Theater Thursday! This week's featured movie is, Scoop. 

Scoop stars Hugh Jackman as a well known aristrocat living in England. When an American journalism student, Sondra (Scarlett Johansson) gets a tip from the ghost of a dead man that Peter (Jackman) is the London Tarot Card killer she begins an affair with him to get to the bottom of the story. As she falls more in love with him and enjoys her time with him she begins to think the whole idea of him being the Tarot card killer is ludicrous. However, her partner in the story Sid (Woody Allen) believes him to be the killer. 

Sid goes out of his way to help track down the murderer no matter who it might be. He also wants to make sure he's looking out for Sondra. He feels like she's getting sucked into Peter's lies and wants to make sure she doesn't end up the next victim to the Tarot Card killer. Will Sondra make it out of this story alive? Or will she end up in the streets with a tarot card laying on her chest? Sid hopes that she's alive and well! 

It's a cute movie. Watch it!
