It's only a matter of days before I can no longer refrain from putting my Christmas trees up. Yes, you read that right... trees. Plural. I've got a 2ft tree that will be in my bedroom. I've got my 7ft white candy theme tree, my candy apple red movie tree and new this year a blue smurftastic tree that will be my new theme tree. Here's a sneak peek as to what the theme is going to be....
And no it's not up yet. I had just taken a few things out of the boxes and wanted to see what it was going to look like lit up. I also found out that the great Christmas store that I frequent in Sacramento might be going out of business because the owner is retiring. It makes me think of buying it. Hmm.... thoughts.
As of Friday it was 75 days till Christmas but now we're down to 71.
I need to get on the ball about getting gifts for people. I've never been this so late into the season and this far behind. Hopefully by black Friday, I can have everyone almost done. What about you? Do you try to get your shopping done early? Am I the only one excited for Christmas?

i love christmas, but not until the day after thanksgiving. maybe it's because i'm an october baby and want my halloween? thankgsiving is my mom's fave holiday so she's big on no xmas until the day after.
I always *say* I'm going to get gifts early, and then it's suddenly the week before Christmas and I'm like buyallthethings!

We're not doing a whole lot for Christmas this year... with wedding planning and my folks not being here it'll probably be a Christmas movie marathon or something like that!
