Today is the Day

Today I am 30 years old. I can't believe its here. I've been thinking about it for months. Before I get all sad, sentimental and start talking about how I can't believe it's here and how I really don't feel 30, I'll entertain you with a few photos of Birthdays past....

 

1985- My first Birthday!

 

 1987- My 3rd Birthday.

 

 1988- My 4th Birthday. I had two cakes that year.

 

1988- My 4th Birthday Party. Clearly my cousin in the background was giving me a headache with her voodoo face.

 

 

 1989- My 5th Birthday. This is how you know you were a kid in the 80's.... you had a party at McDonalds. It was all the rage. Don't judge.

 

 

 This is my 6th Birthday in 1990. Note the writing on my bike said, California Girl. Apparently it was destined for me to move out here one day.

 By my 6th Birthday, my cousin finally got her voodoo face under control.

Now my 30th Birthday is here. It's crazy. I feel like all these birthdays were just yesterday. This year I'm entering my 30s and as much as I didn't think I'd be ok with it... I am. Besides I hear the 30s are the new 20s. I got this! Here's to another 30 years.
