Distance
Being 2,600 miles away from the people you care about is hard. I'm not gonna lie, it's been a challenge being away from everyone that I'm friends with and my family. When you spend everyday and every minute you can with someone and then their not there it's always going to be a hard adjustment. Gosh I miss my mom!

I usually get to Skype with my mom a few times a week. I always enjoy our Sunday chats because we can talk to the longest without getting interrupted. Josh and I usually get to FaceTime a couple times of week but at least we can talk everyday. He doesn't get great service at his house so he always has to go out to FaceTime with me. That's love people!

Awww! Hope everything is going well for you!
I love FaceTime with Scotty. It is wonderful to know that you can see them while they are gone.
YOu know it's amazing how technology can bring us together like this! that's how we communicate with my sister and inlaws too!
This is how we're communicating with my in laws and sister!
I cannot even begin to understand how hard the distance must be!
I remember when I first moved to California--it really was hard being away from everyone! When is Josh going to be able to move? That will be such a happy time for you!
Aww your mom is so cute! It's pretty crazy that we have so much technology to bring us closer to loved ones, but nothing like being there in person! I hope he gets to move there soon!
I'm so proud of you for taking the leap and moving so far! Way to go! Seriously. I couldnt imagine how difficult it probably is to be away from your loved ones. So glad Josh is going to be able to move out there! My friend said it took her 3 months to get depressed, 6 months to make her first friend, and a year to really have it feel like some assemblance of "home." So, I guess I'm just saying...you've got this, girl. Time (and Josh moving there) will make the adjustment 100 times easier. :)
I still wonder how I managed all this without today's technology. Love today's possibilities... just perfect. :)
I totally know what you mean. It's so hard to be away from everyone you know and love. I hope he gets to come out there soon, and I hope you find some ways to make new friends out there.
