Oh Christmas Tree!

When I was in Huntington for Thanksgiving, my mother and I went out and got our Christmas tree. Since I was a kid, we have always went out and got a real tree. We always get them at a place called Stewarts because they have the best trees in town. The Frasier Firs always smell so great and last the whole season without shedding needles or dying early. When we went to get ours this year it was freezing. Hence the awesome hat...
We started with a bare tree and ended up with this beauty. After the great tree falling of 2011, we have always been a little nervous about getting the tree into the stand. No one ever wants their tree to fall to the ground after being completely decorated. It was a nightmare. So this year we let the tree sit for a few hours before the decorating commenced.
We got it up and decorated before I had to leave!
I was able to get a few presents wrapped while I was there! I can't wait for the holiday! This is definitely my favorite time of the year.
What are you looking forward to most this Christmas season?

Ours fell down in 2011. It could've been bad because our presents were under there (including my iPad 2). Thank goodness nothing happened. We used a plastic stand, because we couldn't find a metal one. Those are the best!

I'm looking forward to Inspector Climate having a few days off so we can spend some quality time together.

I haven't put up trees in years, or decades, can't remember how long as there's no family left to have Christmas with.

So what I'm looking forward to is spending the week of Christmas / New Year off and doing nothing. No internet, no technology, no nothing. Just a nice sleep in, stay up late do nothing holiday.

I'm looking forward to lots of time with Iz. We get his birthday, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve and New Year's Day together. It'll be pretty awesome.

Beautiful tree!!!! I'm looking forward to being off work for the holiday and finally deciding on a final gift for my other half. It really shouldn't be this hard to decide on a freaking Christmas gift.

Love your tree! Frasier Firs are seriously the best- I hope I can get a real one shipped to my apartment this year!! I'm pretty much a Grinch, but I do like the smell of Christmas trees and all the lights! Oh, and Elf!

Awww great photos! We put up our Christmas tree last weekend. This Christmas will be an extra special one since this is my last Christmas being single and my last Christmas with my family before I move in with my future mister. =)
