Wedding Details

Now that we've finally got our professional wedding photos back I can share some of the amazing details we had on display that day. I shared my wedding dress here and now today I'm going to share some of the details from the ceremony and cocktail hour. Our venue was gorgeous all on it's own so we knew anything that we did would only add to it. Since our wedding was in December we had a winter wonderland/Christmas theme.

Our ceremony was held in the Amber room at Casa Real. Lining the aisle was gutters of rose petals along with candles.

We also had two Manzanita trees at each end. These trees were hand painted in silver and featured blue tones of our wedding colors. They also had candles hanging from them. The base flowers we chose all white to go with our classic look. We did use Miller leaves to give it some winter green.
Behind us while we were married was a marble mantle with a fire place. We had it adorned with candles.

Above the fire place was a 12 foot Christmas wreath.

We had programs on all of our guests chairs so they would be able to follow along and know our wedding party. Out in our foyer area during cocktail hour and the entry way we tried to keep our theme going with all white flowers and our ornaments mixed in with them.

While we had a guest book we also wanted to incorporate some special touches. We had guests sign ornaments so next year and the years after we can put them on our trees.

We had some of our engagement photos on display...

In the lobby we had a 40 foot tall Christmas tree up! People loved being able to take their photo with the giant tree and it really filled the room.

Those are some of the details from our ceremony and entrance hall. I love how it all turned out! We also had butlers walking around serving hot chocolate to guests as they arrived. Trust me... it was no swiss miss.

This is absolutely gorgeous! And I love the ornament idea! Perfect to have messages on ornaments that you can hang up!
