And the winner is....

The Cavalier King Charles!!!!! Too adorable!!! Sorry, Mr. Wiener Dog....
I figure I'll get him/her in a few weeks maybe a month or two. Basically, as soon as I can figure out my work schedule. Thanks everyone for giving your input. I had no idea that wiener dogs can be a little temperamental. I had no idea!

The weather here is absolutely beautiful today! I'm shocked! Last night I went to bed to doom and gloom. It was pouring buckets of rain and rolling thunder. We even had miniature golf ball size hail. So the egg hunt for tomorrow is DEFINITELY on! I was pretty excited because I found a ton of camouflage eggs to fill with candy. Let's just hope the kids can find them. Haha!

I'm pretty nervous for Monday! I start my new job...ekkkk! I have two weeks of orientation/training. I'm not 100% sure of everything that I'll be doing but so far they've been really nice. They've probably called me about 5 times making sure I got my travel info and schedules. The training is about an hour from where I live, so they offered to put me up in a hotel to cut out the driving back and forth. Let me tell you...... I was shocked when they sent me my hotel information. Are you sitting for this?? I have a suite!!! A 2 room suite! It's a really nice hotel and apparently they give me per diem for food! These government jobs are awesome! I don't know what I was thinking before?!? I should have started working for the man a long time ago!

Alright everyone, I hope you're having an excellent weekend and have a great Easter tomorrow!

Thanks for stopping by my blog! How do you like Fort Bragg so far? It seems okay to me so far, although we are living about 30 miles north so we aren't right in Fayetteville. So glad you decided on the King Charles, weiner dogs are cute but they can have very unpredicatable personalities!

I promise you won't regret your choice! (I say this as I hear one of mine pulling over a garbage can downstairs!) They have the sweetest personality! However, I will warn you, that breeders do not reconmend that you leave them alone by themselves for long periods of time. They can suffer from depression. I found that my dogs don't really get depressed, but if they are left for long periods of time are particularly needy for human attention.

Grats on the puppy. Sometimes working for the man is awesome. My last job also put up people at the hotel for training because it was an hour and a half away. I don't think anyone got a suite, though, so.. aren't you lucky!

Throw Away 50 Things by Gail Blanke was AWESOME. It is definitely a book to modivate you to get rid of stuff in your house. The best part for me was the emphasis on getting rid of anything that makes you feel bad or feels like a burden.

Ohhhh I'm getting puppy fever again!!

I'm such a huge fan of red meat, I really wanted to cook the holiday "big chunk-o-meat" but not ham or turkey. Never made a roast before. So this butcher brings out an, I kid you not, $50 10lb hunk-o-meat. Eventually he cut it in half but for real, I couldn't believe he was about to let me walk out with half a cow! lol

I figured if it turned out bad, we could just order pizza HA!
