Theater Thursday

Watch out! We're getting fancy here at Crazy Shenanigans! We've finally got a button for
Theater Thursday! Made none other than by Miss Amy over at The Undomestic Army Wife. Big Thank You!
This week's Theater Thursday featured movie is It's A Mad Mad Mad Mad World!

It's a Mad Mad Mad Mad World came out in 1963 and featured over 10 main characters. The story begins with a man's car going over a cliff. Four separate cars see the accident and stop to help. Once the 5 men reach the dying man, he confesses to them where he's buried a large sum of money but not it's exact location. Thinking that the dying man had gone crazy non of the passengers believed him. However, once the police come and begin to question them, the people begin to wonder if he really was telling the truth about the money.

All of them men have places to go and other passengers in their cars to deal with. However, all of them tell their traveling companions about the man's confession. Trying to decide if they should go search for the money everyone realizes it's every man for himself. The results are hilarious!
If you've never seen this movie, you really must! The cast has all of the old Hollywood A-listers in it some include: Ethel Merman, Spencer Tracy, Milton Berle, Buddy Hackett, Mickey Rooney and Sid Caesar.

Now, here's where the fun comes in! Have a great movie you'd like others to know about? Post about it and then come back here and link up! Just remember! Theater Thursday's is not for movies still in the theater. Also grab the theater thursday button in my sidebar!

We used to watch Its a Mad Mad Mad Mad World, all the time when I was younger whenever we went to my grandparents' house. And I always love the fact the the big chase scene in the end was filmed in Long Beach. Its pretty surreal to see the city you group up in, in a movie. But even crazier when it was filmed 50 years ago!
