Watch out! Paper Cuts...

Recently, I was contacted by Big Honcho Media and was sent a review copy of The Ocean Between Us by Susan Wiggs. I read this book from cover to cover in a day and it was amazing! I highly suggest you read this book. It was the first book I've read of Susan's books but it definitely won't be my last!

Remember this huge post I did a few weeks ago with all the books I had bought while on my mini vacation? Well I've finished a few more and maybe bought some more books in the process. The ones that I've finished were:

The Choice by Nicolas Sparks and The Girl of His Dreams by Donna Leon. I liked The Choice but was completely bored with The Girl of His Dreams. So I'd say pass on the 2nd one. I admit it. I fell off the wagon. I bought more books. So now I have this huge stack of books just sitting there waiting to be read. In addition to the ones I bought last month, I also bought the following:
Is there a books-aholic meeting I can go to? Haha! I love to read.

I'm such a book junkie too! I feel like I keep packing boxes and boxes of books! It's ridiculous! Someday we'll both have huge homes with gorgeous libraries where we can put them on display:)

In regards to your previous post, as much as I love Aiden, I've always been a Big fan! I will scream Bloody Murder if Carrie cheats on Big with him!

Sigh. I remember reading.

I read like other people breathe.

The reason why I don't currently read books is because once the book is open, nothing else happens. With three small kids, dinner can't be a bowl of popcorn made with the air popper and they really do need to be taken to school, on walks, etc. Seriously, before kids, I read while I walked places, at red lights, through the night, in the bathroom at work (but not too often) ... so ... one day ...

That is so cool that they sent you a book to review! Do you feel like a big time blogger, cause it would totally make me feel like that. I'll have to check it out after I finish the girl who kicked a hornets nest

I love books too - and I always buy books before I finish the ones I have. I figure it's good to have backups so you don't run out of things to read! :)

I've never read Susan Wiggs, but I will definitely look at her books next time I'm on a book spree!

Thanks for the review!

Dang girl! That's a lot of books! I love buying books, love the smell, the feel, everything, and I like to read. But for some reason, I usually need a kick in the pants to actually start one. And if I'm not completely engrossed in it, I usually don't finish it. I have bad book habits. haha
I really liked The Choice because it had an unexpected ending, in regards to how most of his books end. Have you read Nights in Rodanthe or seen the movie? I liked both of them.

Oh, P.S., thanks for the tip about the internships! Do you know if they're paid or not? And do you know if there's a website where I can look up more info.? You're talking about in Charlotte, NC, right? That's where I was referring to.

I'm on board w/your reading habits... don't worry, you're just fine, bookaholic! I love fiction, but sometimes i'll work in a biography of sorts - it varies, from sports biographies to my latest interest in civil rights leaders... I went from Malcomb X straight to Martin Luther King, Jr. this winter - loved both books, and learned a lot! But then, I was ready to jump back on the fiction wagon. Happy Reading!
