I feel like Chuck Norris beat me up

A few days ago I jumped on the bandwagon and ordered Jillian Michael's The Shred. It still has not arrived, but since I've been in a work out out mood (which is very very rare), I decided to start my working out today. The only workout dvd I own, I bought about a year ago. It's Jackie Warner's from the Bravo show WORKOUT.
Oh.my.efffing. goodness! I did the 20 minute lower body workout. The dvd is busted into three 20 minute workout sessions being: Upper body, lower body and core strengthening. I chose the lower body and seriously my legs are still feeling like jello. What's really sad is that about after 10 mins I turned it off. My legs were just hurting so bad! I could tell after the 10 minutes that my legs are going to be sore aching the next morning. I was correct. They are killing me. I must have some serious fat in my lower body because I am oh so sore.

John and I always ran out of stuff to say! It was so annoying. We chatted alot online so by the time he called, there was a lot of silence. It actually got to the point that he called less just because of that! Which was fine by me. Or he'd just call, say hello and I love you then hang up!

Yeah, mark and I always had trouble talking. The only time we had something to talk about was if someone got killed, Murphy's Law struck my home again or if we had to discuss money. After the first few months the days are all the same for both people, I think. It's normal. I know it probably feels like you should be taking advantage of every opportunity to talk because he's so far away. We got to a point where we e-mailed and chatted shortly online. He called once a week on Sunday. It worked out well.

Yup, definitely ran out of things to say. A friend of mine asks silly questions when she and her man run into the same problem. I usually have the weather, antics of the dogs and the mail and when those run out, I remind him of stuff we did together. He never gets tired of hearing the same stories over and over again.

I have another one of her DVD's and it's killer! But it I end up with a bod anywhere near as hot as hers, I guess it pays off??

I have heard about this DVD....I think I can get in on Netflix to try it out.

Sometimes I felt bad when hubs would call in the middle of the night and I was asleep and didn't have much to say. I felt so bad about that.

I think that's normal! I hope so at least ;) We always run out of things to chat about. There's only so much you can say, ya know? It's good just to hear his voice though I'm sure!

oh honey, the lack of topics for conversating about is definitely going around (based on your other comments) and adding my personal experience to the mix too that just pushes it right over the edge! This has actually been the cause of a lot of arguments for Kevin and I. Forcing conversation where there is really nothing left to say. I talk to Kevin usually everyday, most times twice a day (AM and PM)... this leaves a lot to be desired in the "missing you" category... if you can understand. All the same... I recommend NOT forcing convos when you've covered what you had to say. Do however, give it a minute for the excitement to lessen that he actually called and is okay than see if anything else comes to mind. =) Anyways... I haven't does either of these workouts but I have done the biggest loser and that did kick my ass as well!! Keep it up girl- I'm happy to find another blogger that isn't a runner. (sorry for leaving a short novel here on your comment!) ha haa
