Theater Thursday

Welcome to a great Theater Thursday! Before I debut this week's movie, I've got some awesome TT news! This is the 1st week of the MckLinky (Hopefully I set it up right)! Have a movie you love? Have a movie you want to watch tonight? Post about it and link up here. That way other people can show off the movies they love and in the process you might find something new to love. Just remember, theater thursdays do not feature movies that are currently in the theater. So without further ado, this week's Theater Thursday movie is: Days of Thunder
Tom Cruised blazed on the scene in 1990 as a Cole Trickle, a stock car driver who gets a chance to drive in the Nascar league. Once he's made his presence known in the race car world, he has a serious accident, Cole is rushed to the hospital where he falls under the care of Doctor Claire Lewickie (Nicole Kidman). On the road to recovery he beings to fall in love but his driving continues to suffer. The other driver in the accident continues to worsen in condition causing Cole to become afraid of driving. Knowing what he needs to do, he sets out on his quest. To win Daytona, get his friend well and prove to everyone including himself that he can drive again.

This movie has tons of great actors in it, including Randy Quaid (you know he's hilarious), Robert Duvall and Carl Elwes. If you've never seen this movie...it's definitely a good watch. Fun Fact:While filming Days of Thunder Tom Cruise was married to Mimi Rodgers. However, he fell in love with Nicole Kidman and they were married within the same here.

Gotta love the celeb gossip! I actually just saw this movie for the first time about a month ago! True Story. Kinda cheesy like all things from the 80's & 90's but still a must see from Mr. Cruise!
