Four Hours of Reality TV

How did I spend my evening last night? Oh, I watched 4 hours of television. Nope, not kidding! Um... who watched the Bachelorette last night? If you haven't watched last night's finale and don't want to have it ruined then stop reading now.
My heart hurt for Chris. Wait... let me back up and start at the beginning. From the moment this season started I was team Roberto all the way. Let's face it, the guy is smart, funny and gorgeous. Hello! Who wouldn't want to be with him?!? As the season went on and Chris became a front runner, I started to like the guy. Then his back story came out and the home town date happened. That's when I got really torn. I no longer knew who to root for and cheer on. So as the entire finale was playing out last night I still couldn't decide who I wanted to see get the final rose. And then it happened...

You know exactly what I'm talking about. The moment Ali started telling Chris how great he was. I've been dumped before so I could tell the, "It's not you, it's me" speech coming the moment she told him, "let's sit". I felt so bad for him and my heart hurt for him. He had literally just finished inhaling from his last deep breath of, "I love Ali and want to marry her and be with her in life forever" statement.

Then the rainbow happened and made it a little better. I did love the fact that he wasted no time on getting out of there. He packed his bags, got on a boat and got the hell out the same day and even before nightfall. Did you see him on the After the Final Rose Ceremony? He looked good! I don't know what he's been doing but he looked hot. I vote that he'll be the next bachelor but since they haven't announced it... I don't know.
What did you think of the episode? Who do you think the next Bachelor will be?
Then the Real Housewives of New Jersey was on. Hello! That's a hot mess right there, so of course I'm going to watch. Dirty D (as jacqueline calls her on twitter, yes I follow her on twitter) was up to her crazy antics as always. What made this episode even better was the fact that her and Kim G (who's desperate for fame in my opinion) got into a huge blow up resulting in her screaming after D telling her that she had square boobs. People, I'm telling you... this is priceless tv.

I would have rather paid the 17 bucks we paid for Dinner with Schmucks on Friday, for some popcorn and candy to eat while watching these shows!

i know it! That show is such a time commitment, but I loved every minute of it! I adored Roberto from the beginning, poor Chris! What a sweetheart, but she and Roberto just had amazing chemistry! I hope he's the new Bachelor, but I dont think he would agree to it... hmm

Oh em gee. I cant believe it! I wanted Frank, but then realized what a scumbag he was. NOW, look Roberto!! i love it. i loved this show. xxxooo

I was team Roberto from the start too, and I liked Chris but it was pretty clear there was no chemistry there, at least beyond friendship. He is a good guy, but if he was the next bachelor (which wouldn't surprise me) I don't think I would watch. He just seems too tame and can't speak well either. I told my husband if Roberto ended up being the next bachelor I would have to go on the show :)

OK this made me laugh cause my mom was calling me at every commercial of the Bachelorette saying she isn't going to pick anyone, than yes she is, then she called back mad and upset and said the other guy proposed this is awful I'm going to bed LOL....

Then I was glad I didn't get sucked into it.... I usually do LOL

Glad you had a fun evening

I agree....pretty good tv!!! I watched bachelorette on the DVR last night fast forwarding through all the boring parts. Christ DID look good on the after the rose show! I also thought he would be a good candidate for the next bachelor. :)

I missed RHoNJ...that show is the best. really. I will have to look it up and see if they replay it.

I loved Chris, but it was obvious she was smitten with Roberto. Either way, I enjoyed watching!

So glad I'm not the only one that watched way too much reality TV last night. I was a Chris fan the entire time, but I knew Roberto was going to win, it was so obvious that she was crazy about him the entire time. I wasn't a fan of Ali until last night. Of all the Bachelor couples, I really hope these two work out. And RHONJ, amazing! All of them are crazy and I love it! Although I do not see myself watching the new DC season

I loved Roberto too but felt really bad for Chris. However, I'm really happy Ali just let him know then and didn't make him get all dressed up and ready to propose. I thought that was kind of her.

I hope Chris is the next Bachelor... yum.

I was totally stoked on the 4 hour of reality tv too! I missed the end of RH but Oh Danielle she's so bad I can't stand her.

I totally almost started blogging last night then remembered that it would probably be a spoiler for Bachelorette ending.

Chris is SMOKING hot.. They need him to be the bachelor asap.

So Dinner for Schmucks was not good? My husband is going to be SO disappointed!! He wants to see it really badly and I keep trying to come up with every excuse I can to not go to the theater. :)

I didn't watch the Bachelorette at all really. Mostly because I just couldn't stomach Ali.

I'm thinking Chris will be the next Bachelor. I'm glad Ali did what she did, rather than put him through the rose ceremony.

I'm glad she and Roberto are together and happy.

I don't watch The Bachelorette, but man, those Real Housewives are CRAZY! Kim G is so itching for Dina's spot, isn't she???

Ha ha! It's TV like this that have lead me to get in my cardio time at the gym. Nothing like spacing out and watching some trash TV to take your mind off the work out.

Do you watch Big Brother? That's my current must see. I need to catch up on the last episode of Housewives.

Poor Chris - I felt bad for him but I sort of knew she wouldn't pick him. I am glad she let him go without going through another date. It made me dislike her a little less. I hope Chris is the next Bachelor!

I cried when he saw the rainbow... how perfect was that. I'm glad he stayed positive, & I totally agree that he should be the next bachelor!

So how long are we giving Ali & Roberto? I have to admit, I was a bit thrown by her comment "my friendship with Chris was stronger but the romance with Roberto was stronger..."

You have to wonder if she would have still chosen Roberto if we was not such a stud. And PS, give anyone enough years and we all lose our looks. What then?

Never really got into the whole Bachelorette. Now, RHONJ! hahahahah! Love it. Kim G, is a nut! She and "Dirty D" make a good couple. :)

I could NOT agree more! I LOVED Roberto and then here came Chris! The episode where he met her family CLINCHED it with me. The way he was so easy about telling her how much he loved her? PRICELESS. I think she made the right choice though... after seeing them on After the Final Rose.

I couldn't get into the Bachelorette. Only watched the first 2-3 episodes. But, I did tune in the last few min's on Mon to see who she picked. Didn't watch the follow up show...that was RHONJ time!!
You are so right about RHONJ--it is a HOT mess!! It's totally crazy, but I keep coming back every Mon. Are you ready for RHODC tonight? And the Bethenny season ender?!
