Saturday Smiles

This is something new.

New Year.

New Things.

Every Saturday, I'm going to try and post five things that made me smile during the week. Often I find myself getting caught up in the small stuff but this year I'm making an effort to be conscious of it. This year is about being happy and finding happiness even in the small things! Want to join me? Go ahead and post your Saturday Smiles!

This week's Saturday Smiles...

1. Having 3 days off work.
2. Getting new tires and an oil change for my car.
3. New furniture.
4. Watching the final season of Designing Women.
5. Finding a tree topper for my beach theme tree. Who cares it's after Christmas!

What's making you smile this Saturday?

Cute- and yay to new furniture! What did you get?

This is similar to what I was doing on Sundays with the Happiness Report. It's important to remember the little things that make you happy!

Unfortunately almost nothing makes me smile these days. It's just like years ago when Oprah said to keep a mood board, journals and dream about what you wanted.

Well I did, and still didn't get what I wanted, married to Michael Weatherly ;), I got bored with trying to come up with things to be happy about when there was so much shit going on in my life and unfortunately it's just gotten worse.

So, I have almost nothing to smile about or be grateful for. But I always find it interesting when people do.

OMG Designing Women! I forgot about that show. I use to watch it with my mom when I was a kid :)
