The first was working as Poll Clerk in the Election. Since the year I turned 18, I've been volunteering in the elections. I think at this point it would feel weird if election day came and I wasn't working it.
The second thing I did yesterday was devour this book...
I read it cover to cover. It was A-MAZING! I have to go out and get the 2nd book in the series today. I loved this book, there was never a dull moment and I could never guess what was going to happen next. This is one book I hope they make into a movie. So good! GET IT!

I've heard so many things about that book, but I still haven't jumped on the bandwagon yet...maybe sometime after all of the hype has died down.
Good for you for working the polls! I am always so appreciative of poll workers. I never get absentee ballots cause I love the process of actually (physically) going to vote. :) And as for the Hunger Games? IT WAS SO GOOD. I haven't read the second one yet . . . I must be crazy!

The Hunger Games trilogy is SO good! I haven't had a chance to read the third yet, but the first two were fantastic!
Two of my good friends have read and raved about that book... I have yet to dive in. I'll have to add it to my hold list at the library. I've got the three Stieg Larsson books to plow thru first!
I just bought Hunger Games after hearing so many amazing things about it.
