Snorkeling Cruise

Before we headed off to Hawaii, we booked a snorkel cruise with Fair Winds. We had wanted to snorkel and heard this group was the best. Since neither one of us had ever snorkeled before we were excited and a little nervous. We just went into the experience with wanting to have fun, see colorful fish and coral and be in really clear water. What we loved about Fair Winds was the fact they are use to having first time snorkelers and the other fact that they serve two meals on their cruise.

The day started out looking a little overcast and we were nervous they would cancel the cruise. If they have really bad weather and the captain doesn't think it'll be a safe four hours then they cancel the cruise. Since the sky was looking a little iffy we were nervous it wouldn't happen. Luckily for us, the weather held off and we were able to enjoy! So we started our adventure at sea!

Once the boat set sail and we started our hour ride out to sea, we were served with a buffet of breakfast foods. The crew told us facts about the surroundings and where and what we would be experiencing. We used this time to take an ungodly amount of photos.

We started getting closer to our snorkeling spot near Captain Cook's Monument. The water started to get very blue and green. It was so clear!

 

We loved how clear it was and the fact that we could see tons of fish and amazing coral. After an hour of snorkeling they served us a grilled lunch. It was right up my alley because I love off the grill food. Did I mention they had a 25 foot water slide as well? It was pretty awesome and beezy took full advantage of it.

 Once the snorkeling was over and our bellies were full, we had to make the hour trek back to the main land. On the way out of the cove we were followed by a school of dolphins.

If you ever get a chance to go snorkeling and in Hawaii pick Fair Winds. It's a great company and they made us feel extremely safe. They provide all the gear you'll need, two meals and drinks. They pick a great place to snorkel and make sure that everyone has a great time. It's also at a really reasonable price and one of the cheaper ones we found.
