Miscellany Monday

Miscellany Monday @ lowercase letters
-I am anxiously counting down to many different things. I need to learn how to live in the present and not in the future. I need to learn how to love each day for that day. I think I'm getting slightly better at it but at the same time I'm still counting down to things on the horizon.

-I had a moment this weekend where the movie/book, He's Just Not That Into You, spoke to me. I saw the situation for what it was and said to myself, "No don't. He just not that into you." and I'm fine with that because it is what it is. Just remember ladies, if he ain't calling then he's just not that into you.

-I have a giant stack of books sitting beside my bed waiting to be read. I feel guilty for not sitting around reading all of the time. Am I the only one who feels this way?

-I am so thankful for my Mom (Love you Mom, if you're reading). She seriously keeps me sane. I'm also thankful for Erica because she lets me vent to her on our daily phone dates lol. If you haven't checked out Erica's MAC makeup giveaway you should!!

Oh gosh, I know how you feel about the books. I have 2 books I need to review for TLC book tours but any day now my request from the library is supposed to be here. Freaking out!

Ugh, guys! I hate how when we get a no we have to accept it,but when guys get a no, they don't! They just keep on pushing until we give in. Well, some guys anyway.

I wouldn't feel too bad about the books, you'll get around to them, right? I love reading, but I like to do it at night before bed, so it can take me a while. Oh well :)

XOXO

I'm just the opposite. I do sit around and read all the time and I feel guilty for doing that.

What's on your list to read?

I'm the same way...I need/want future stuff to look forward to and plan for. Right now it's a good distraction, but when things are just fine I really need to enjoy the moment!

Good for you for taking control and knowing when to pick up on the signals. :-)

I completely understand. I have plenty of free time and yet I haven't been reading. I don't know what is wrong with me! :) At least I am not the only one.

I've gotta get back to reading. I usually read during breaks @ work but have been doing blog stuff instead!

I would feel guilty entering the giveaway because I get mac makeup from my brother in law all the time, but i still want to. You can never have too much makeup, right? I feel guilty when my book takes too long to be read, but sometimes other things have to be done first.

I have a stack of books that I want to get through also, like the Hunger Games!, but somehow vegging out on the couch with the tv always wins out.

YAY! It's fun getting old when you have those He's Just Not That Into You Moments. And I love that movie.

I also have a stack of books. But I am just tooooooo busy so I'm trying not to feel too guilty. I mean afterall, we're thouroughly modern millies workin' full time, riiight?

I love reading, but sometimes at the end of the day -- after a day of work followed by classes -- I can't bring myself to crack open the book on my nightstand. I end up flicking on the TV instead.
